In Byron Township located in Michigan, a woman was arrested for committing animal abuse – in the worst way possible. She had murdered her dog for no apparent reason, with a kitchen knife in hand. She lashed her dog’s throat, and let it bleed to death. A neighbor had reported the incident in the form of a complaint.
The 46-year-old woman was named Ronda Lynne Pekel. She wasn’t her usual self, and that led to the discovery of her dog’s dead body. Ronda is currently on a $1,000 bail, but still eligible for a 4-year jail term if found guilty.
