Bride Sees Her Husband’s Ex At Her Wedding, Halts Everything And Tells Her To Stand

Everyone attending will remember this forever . . .

Marrying someone with a child is a daunting prospect. Not only are you vowing to love your spouse for the rest of your life, but their child as well. Through thick and thin, you’re supposed to be there for both of them.
So when Katie Hild was writing her wedding vows, she knew that she had to make some very serious promises to her soon-to-be husband (Jeremy), his son (Landon), and his son’s mother and stepfather (Casey and Tyler). Their family was going to be a blended one, and they all needed to be in this together.

Instead of shying away from Landon’s mother and stepfather, Katie invited them to the wedding and penned special vows to show them how much she appreciated their love and support.
Co-parenting can come with many challenges, but they all keep Landon’s best interest in mind and work together. Katie was going to be a permanent part of the family and that’s something she didn’t take lightly.

After her own vows to Jeremy, Katie turned to Casey and Tyler and started an additional emotional set of vows to the people she would be co-parenting with for the rest of her life.
It takes a selfless woman to divert the attention from herself to her husband’s ex on her wedding day, but Katie did so without hesitation.
This was the most memorable moment of her life and she knew how important it was to include Casey and Tyler. Once her vows to them were finished, Katie turned her attention to Landon.

Bending down on to get on his level, Katie vowed to look after him and love him for the rest of his life. She promised that she would be his best friend and confidant for decades to come, and also to parent him even when he didn’t like it. Landon was going to be her son and that’s not something she took lightly.
As Katie completed her vows, the guests broke down in tears. This was the most positive, inclusive set of wedding vows ever and they got to witness it all firsthand.
By the looks of things, Katie, Jeremy, Landon, Casey and Tyler are going to have a happy future ahead of them. Instead of letting the troubles of a once-broken relationship bog them down, this group of young adults are doing things the right way!
