They say to ‘dance like no one is watching’, but apparently ‘dancing like no one is listening’ is even more fun.
The 1984 film, ‘Footloose’, is a classic and I don’t think there are many people who don’t know the theme song. It is an infectious tune and it’s pretty much impossible to listen to it and not dance along.
So when YouTuber Preston Leatherman wanted to film a video of him dancing around in puclic, it seemed the obvious choice was to dance to ‘Footloose’.
With his ear phones fitted firmly so that only he could hear the music, Preston listened to the infectious tune and let himself loose around the Target store. Dancing around and flailing his limbs everywhere, Preston allows the music to take him over as he moves from location to location.
Shoppers pass by, some noticing his enthusiastic dancing and some completely oblivious to what is happening behind them. Some passers by even join in with him, copying his moves and laughing along. Everybody who comes across him ends up with a big smile on their face.
Preston certainly is spreading happiness with his feel-good video and the internet loves it just as much as the public did, with the video being watched over 1.5 million times on YouTube.
