Healthy Snickers Bar Recipe
Serves: 8 Full-Sized Chocolate Bars
Time: 10 Minutes
Needed Ingredients:
Chocolate Part:
1 cup of virgin coconut oil
1/2 cup of organic cocoa powder
1/4 cup of organic maple syrup
Caramel Part:
1 cup of Medjool dates (pre-soaked and the pitted kind)
3 tbsps. agave nectar
2 tbsps. almond butter
1/2 tsp of sea salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsps. coconut oil
1 cup of raw peanuts
Directions:
To prepare the chocolate bars, you should add all of the chocolate ingredients into a food processor and blend until you get smooth mixture. Set aside.
Then, blend the caramel ingredients until you get creamy and smooth consistency. Use a silicone mold and coat the sides with a layer of the chocolate mixture, making sure the coating is thick. You should add a layer of caramel then top the caramel with some of the raw peanuts.
Add the chocolate layer to the top and place it in the freezer for 1 hour. Enjoy!
