If you’re a coffee lover just like anyone who needs it daily for work and for chills, this must a good news for you. World Health Organization released its long-anticipated report of coffee, and its findings bode well for your health.
In the most recent scientific evidence which lasted over past 25 years since the last analysis, the WHO finally concluded that coffee should no longer be considered a carcinogen and that it may actually have positive effects on your body when it comes to two types of cancers – liver and uterine cancers.
However, it’s important to know that WHO reported that there was another significant findings wherein “VERY HOT” beverages “probably” cause cancer. This is based on studies related to the consumption of a traditional South American beverage where the tea can be taken at temperature around 70 degrees Celcius.
These results suggests that drinking very hot beverages is one probable cause of esophageal cancer and that it is the temperature, rather than the drink itself.
Now, with the coffee issue finally resolved, you can continue having your black coffees or espresso back in your diet. Just not in very hot serving.
