Dye Your Hair Without Using Chemicals!

he majority of women dye their hair with a certain hair color. But, in fact, they are unaware of the chemical ingredients that they contain. Actually, one hair color product has more than 500 different chemical components which has been identified as carcinogenic. So, next time you want to change your color, don’t use a boxed hair color product. Instead, turn to the following natural ways for dyeing by only using healthy herbs.

BEET OR CARROT JUICE FOR RED HAIR

If you want to add a temporary reddish color to your hair strands, that you should use beets or carrots. All you need is:

  • Beet juice (or carrot juice)
  • Whipped coconut oil

Mix the beet juice with the coconut oil and apply the paste to your head thoroughly. Then, cover with a plastic wrap and let it stay for 60 minutes. Wash it at the end, by using shampoo and hair conditioner as usual.

CHAMOMILE FOR BLONDE HAIR

  • 8 of chamomile (dried flowers)
  • 300 ml of water
  • lemon juice

Pour the water over the dried chamomile flowers and put them on the heat for up to 15 minutes. Then, after it cools down, filter it and add the lemon juice. Put the mixture on your hair and let it dry. At the end, wash it off with shampoo.

WALNUT HULLS FOR DARK BROWN COLOR

Crush a few walnuts and put the hulls in a pot to boil for 30 minutes. Then, put your hair soaked in the mixture for 20 minutes. Don’t rub it too much on your scalp.

ONION PEEL FOR GRAY HAIR

In a glass of boiling water add ½ of a glass of onion peels and let it stay for up to 20 minutes. Cover with a lid so the heat can’t vapor. Then, filter the liquid from the peels with a gauze and add 2 tbsp. of glycerol. Apply this mixture on your hair on a daily basis until you achieve the wanted result. At the end, wash your hair and dry it in a natural way.
