  • 1 ounce of cannabis buds
  • A baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

Preparation:

  • Heat the oven to 115°C/240°F.
  • Then separate the buds in little pieces using your hands.
  • Take the baking sheet rimmed with parchment lines and add one layer. Cover the whole sheet with marijuana.
  • Then put it in the oven and bake for about 30-40 minutes and turn them every 10 minutes in order to be baked evenly.
  • When you see that the cannabis is dried and its color is become light medium brown, take it out from the oven and let it cool. When dried, the cannabis is crumbly.
  • Then put it in a blender and turn it on until it becomes ground but not too much. Then put it in a glass jar with airtight lid and it is ready to be used to prepare the medicines.

Making the oil

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce cold-pressed virgin coconut oil
  • 1 gram decarboxylated marijuana

Preparation:

  • Measure the marijuana and put it in a glass jar and then pout the coconut oil. Then close the jar and put it in a water-filled saucepan.
  • Then put it in the stove and heat it gradually for 1 hour, but do not boil it. (this will keep the oil not to overheat)
  • Then strain the solids using cheesecloth or a mesh strainer and put them in other glass jar. Pour the cannabis liquid in the oil.
  • You can use the cannabis coconut oil as a topical lotion or eat it. You can also eat the solids from the oil, cooked with other herbs or baked.

The cannabis oil can be used for cooking, but not on high head, because it will cook out the active compounds.
