Landon Riddle is just a boy, but he has already been diagnosed with leukemia, and the chances for his survival were very slim.
According to medics, he only had 8-10% chance to live on, giving him a total of a couple of days and no more.
His mother, Sierra Riddle explains his process and the excruciating battle they were dealing with, “His whole chest was full of leukemia tumors, which is why he couldn’t breathe. They started him on chemo, but told us that he probably wasn’t going to make it.”
Since undergoing chemotherapy for two months, little Landon lost his appetite and began vomiting up to 50 times per day, exhausting his organism and making himself even sicker.
All this was still happening, until one day someone suggested cannabis oil treatment and the family decided to try it.
“We discussed all of our concerns with his medical team in Utah and watched Landon continue to suffer and wither away as the piled on drug after drug. Then my mother came across cannabis oil online,” Riddle told RYOT.
For this purpose the family flew to Colorado, a state that approves cannabis oil as a treatment method.
To everyone’s surprise, only a few days passed before Landon’s vomiting reflex was reduced and he regained his desire to eat again.
“Our hearts were filled with joy that cannabis brought back the smile to Landon’s face. Landon started getting better and better! It was as if a miracle had happened! He was smiling again and started to eat again!” Sierra explained on her blog, in time of her son’s treatment.
