Lemon Scrub To Reveal New Skin

Try this!

Few products bring results immediately as exfoliants do. When we exfoliate the skin, we remove all the dead skin cells that have accumulated and given the skin a withered and opaque appearance.

By removing all this dead skin, we reveal new skin that immediately looks healthier, smoother and with a more uniform tone.

The recipe that I bring to you today I am going to divide it into two parts. What happens is that the skin of the face should use a softer exfoliant than that used for the body.

For this recipe we are going to take advantage of the exfoliating properties of lemon scrub. The lemon is a very good fruit to promote the health of the skin. In addition, its aroma lifts the mood and makes us feel more energetic.

First let’s see the recipe for the body scrub. The citric acid in the lemon helps to lighten the dark spots on the skin and the sugar helps to remove the dead skin cells. This scrub is also ideal for scrubbing the skin of the elbows and knees.

Exfoliating for the whole body

Ingredients:
-5 tablespoons sugar or sea salt
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-1 lemon

Procedure:
Mix olive oil with sugar. The lemon is cut in half and the juice is squeezed. The juice is added to the mixture little by little until a paste is formed.

You can apply it when you go to bathe. With wet skin you rub the skin of the body with the scrub in circular movements for a few minutes or until the skin looks rosy.

Do not rub yourself too hard, just enough to remove all the dirt but not so much that it will irritate your skin too much.

Lemon scrub for the skin

Ingredients:
-2 tablespoons of oatmeal
-1/2 tablespoon of olive oil
-1 lemon

Procedure:
Blend the oatmeal in the blender to make it powder. Mix the oatmeal powder with the olive oil.
The lemon juice is added to the mixture little by little until a paste forms. You apply it on the skin in the same way as the exfoliant for the body.

Important:
The skin should be exfoliated a maximum of 3 times a week, no more. The lemon can irritate sensitive skins.
