Loyalty Over Anything

Tag a friend you know is loyal!

Loyalty. It’s a simple concept, yet something that a lot of people seem to have a hard owning. Yeah, maybe it is tough out there, and that sucks. But there is no reason why you should stop having the backs of the people you love, even if they aren’t in your life anymore.

Some of the best advice I ever got in my life was after a breakup. I was really angry and hurt because my loyalty had been used against me – I was cheated on. But I never said a mean thing about him. I never did anything other than wish him well because it was important to me to be loyal.

Why? My father told me that the true strength of my character would be seen from how I acted then on out.

Friends, family, partners, exes: loyalty is the key to so many wonderful things, including the freedom to feel safe being yourself.

You should be there for the people you love even when there is nothing in it for you.

You are with me or you’re not.

Being loyal means doing it even when I’m not around.

Just because someone did you wrong doesn’t mean you have to do it back.
