Police have finally revealed the disturbing discovery they made in now-deceased pop star Michael Jackson’s home in 2003.
A newly-released police report revealed that a search of the singer’s secluded Neverland Ranch home in November 2003 turned up vast amounts of pornographic material featuring young men, women and children. Pictures of animal torture and S&M bondage were also reportedly found in the home.
The porn was found after 70 members of the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office and Sheriff’s Department searched Jackson’s Los Olivos, California, estate following allegations of child sexual abuse against the singer, the Daily Mail reports.
According to the police report, which was first obtained by Radar Online, seven collections of books and videos featuring nude or partially-clothed boys in their teen years and younger were found in Jackson’s bedroom and bathroom alone. One collection, entitled Taormina Wilhelm Von Gloeden, included photos of nude adolescent boys from the late 1800s, the Daily Mail notes. Other videos and magazines bore names like “Hustler’s Barely Legal” and “Naughty Neighbors,” according to Radar Online.
Authorities also found photos of animal torture, bondage porn, and drugs to treat sex addiction in the pop star’s estate.
Jackson was in Las Vegas at the time authorities searched his home and obtained an arrest warrant for him, the Daily Mail reports. He turned himself in to police upon his return to California.
The leaked report also revealed that authorities searched a storage unit rented by Jackson after a source told them that the singer had moved some of his porn collections to the locker after the investigation began, Radar Online reports. According to the report, “notes, diaries, documents, photographs, audiotapes and videotapes,” along with more than 80 video recordings and computer hard drives, were seized from the storage space.
“The documents collected by the Santa Barbara’s Sheriff’s Department paint a dark and frightening picture of Jackson,” an investigator in the case told Radar Online.
“The documents exposed Jackson as a manipulative, drug-and-sex-crazed predator who used blood, gore, sexually explicit images of animal sacrifice and perverse adult sex acts to bend children to his will,” the source added.
The investigation was launched after a 13-year-old boy, Gavin Arvizo, accused Jackson of molesting him. Several other boys also made similar allegations against the singer, who reportedly paid out nearly $200 million in “hush money” to as many as 20 alleged sexual assault victims.
Jackson was charged with seven felony counts of child molestation and two felony counts of providing an intoxicant to a minor under the age of 14 in order to seduce him. He faced up to 20 years in prison if convicted on all charges. However, a jury acquitted him of all wrongdoing in June 2005.
