The Roth family is in mourning.
A 25-year-old musician and son of actor Tim Roth has passed away in the “arms of his family.”
Cormac’s death was announced on October 31, 2022, but he died about 2 weeks earlier.
According to NBC News, Tim Roth shared the news that his beloved son, Cormac, passed away on October 16, 2022 from cancer. Roth said:
“On Sunday, the 16th of October, we lost our beautiful boy Cormac after a courageous battle with cancer. He died peacefully in the arms of his family, who loved and adored him. He fought with incredible bravery for the past year and maintained his wicked wit and humor to the very end.”
Since November of 2021, Cormac has been diagnosed with stage 3 germ cell cancer, which he announced in July of 2022.
As Cormac described, the disease, also known as Choriocarcinoma, was a difficult one to overcome. He was losing weight, hearing, and confidence as a result of the illness.
This young singer bragged about his cancer and pledged to fight it as hard as he could, explaining that it had not changed his love for making music. At the end of the post, the actor’s son wrote:
“Love to you all; please make sure to do the things that you love. Life is short. It is chaos.”
Upon Cormac’s passing, his family expressed appreciation for the time they were able to spend with him, however brief. Furthermore, they expressed sorrow over the fact that he had only recently begun to become a man. They said:
“We love him. We will carry him with us wherever we go.”
Among Cormac’s surviving family members are his father Tim Roth, mother Nikki Butler, and brother Hunter Roth.
Such a tragedy that this happened to such a young man! Cancer is an evil disease.
