The bio availability of coconut oil can increase when it is mixed with weed. This means that more of the nutrients are available and absorbed. This is because coconut oil has so much saturated fat. Butter can absorb cannabinoids, but still, coconut oil is far ahead in its absorption.
It has finally become known that marijuana has medicinal benefits. It has been used since ages to treat various health problems. Depression, aches, anxiety, inflammation, insomnia, menstrual pain, swelling, etc are some of them. The plant is consumed in different ways- eating, vaping, and smoking. It can also be combined with other foods.
The easiest way is to mix an infusion of cannabis in virgin coconut oil. It improves digestion and boosts immunity. This oil has anti bacterial, antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties. This is because of the large amount of lauric, capric and caprylic acid present in it.
Cannabis Coconut Oil
The cannabinoid which is formed when coconut oil and cannabis is mixed can be used externally or taken as a capsule. Mix half a teaspoon of the oil and a few drops of marijuana and use it for medicinal purposes.
For the oil take:
- One ounce of virgin coconut oil
- One gram de-carboxylate marijuana
- Crush the marijuana in a glass jar
- Add the coconut oil
- Cover the jar and seal it.
- Put it in a pan of water
- Heat the water and keep it below boiling point for 60 minutes
- Thus, the oil will not overheat
- Strain the mixture
- Squeeze the juice from the cannabis or use cheesecloth for it.
- Apply it externally
- Or eat it along with other foods.
Use the oil to cook as well. But keep the temperature below 315F. This is the temperature at which the active compound of marijuana boils. If you go higher, the effect of marijuana will be gone.
